3 decades on it's interesting to read through Chrissie's review of a gig the band played at Bailey's night club in Leicester.
Quite a few of the songs performed are still in the current set list.
Bob Benham appears on the cover with
Alan. Just behind his right shoulder a ghostly 'roadie' listens in...
He left the band shortly after this series of
gigs having made only a couple of tv appearances to promote 'Kid Runaway' and the European single 'Stay With Me'. Both videos
survive.
His departure, following a late arrival for rehearsals, was never announced by the fan club.

Despite making the Radio One playlist, 'Kid Runaway' just failed to reach the charts mainly due to record distribution problems
the band were having with Polydor.
One can only imagine what might have happened if the song had been released a couple of years earlier when the band had
successfully established a change of direction with 'Baby I Know'.
